Fuarrrk I just caught myself humanizing AI

I'm working on refining my resume for a better career path with ChatGPT and without realizing I started telling my girlfriend something along the lines of "he told me I should reword this section to say xyz"

I immediately caught that I called it a "he" and that's some scary shit.

Think about how many people are doing this - treating AI like it's a human or even a friend.

Not good mane.

my bro just discovered ai so he is recommending it for everything. Im a bit of a technerd so I know a lot about that stuff. I'd be only using a local model, and using it to optimise my life, I have seen the holographic wifus coming soon. they all are like a alexa/siri with a screen and camera.

you can set up agents to save yourself time for daily things, like a automated calendar almost, so tracking car miles for auto service booking and checking your 401k giving you recommendations etc. this is where it will shine for us plebs. it will help low iq ppl the most, as it will help managing their lives intelligently for them.

you can already do a lot of this with agents, but those systems will need to become more intrusive and compatible with each other, like the camera recognition for a fire, leak, break in, theft etc. it will definitely fruition but needs more time.
