Why Is The Midget Singing When I Try To Browse Misc

Please tell me this is a bug and not intentional, or a troll job at least.

Ruining my browsing experience immensely srs. I dont want to have to mute the tab everytime I refresh misc on a new one.

I had a bug the other day where random music would start playing. I think the forum is mixing with YouTube history or something.

I have not seen (or heard…) this myself but might be related to post previews loading a vocaroo in the OP. I will submit a patch today.

I’ve put thought into the modding system and I think if he does use miscers they should have alts that do the modding. Meaning we would never know who he chooses lol. Would kind of suck for us with entertainment value.
Not saying he’d do it that way but i don’t see any benefit from making existing usernames mods.

well an alt account would have the high reps. its just theory haha i dont know what he plans on doing. for all we know he has ways to make the forum self mod.

Anon mods are almost always a disaster because they have no stake in the account they're moderating from.

If you're too scared to publicly name a mod, then that person definitely doesn't need to be a mod.

well thats one thought but i wasnt thinking about the admin being too afraid to publicly name mods. I was thinking about the risk someone puts themselves in by being a mod on a forum like this. especially if they have posted a lot through the years- I do think that it would be odd for someones personality to dramatically shift just because they are modding from an alt account but I guess power and anonymity could do that to a person?

I do think that the less of a misc personality a person has the safer they would be.
