Thinking about quitting job and fixing lawn mowers instead

I have enough money to retire but I make too good of money to quit

kinda want to just retire and fix shit and sell it for fun

You should honestly. Meaningless work is such a waste of life man. My problem is I want to quit my job but I barely have any money saved. If you've already got enough to retire, go for it.

its really just a decision of do I retire and have to be smart with money, or do I work a few more years and have plenty of money. lean FIRE vs fat FIRE

I also have a job where I positively impact a lot of peoples lives so that's kind of nice
