Anyone use Stremio?

It's a video player that lets you stream just about any movie or show imaginable and is available on multiple platforms. Been using this since October and it has been GOAT'd.

Stremio + torrentio + realdebrid = sheesh

Torrentio let's you access public links, so VPN would be wise, while torrentio + realdebrid let's you access private links where VPN isn't needed.

Never used cloudstream 3. Stremio with torrentio addon let's you search the biggest erm, 'sites' that host movies and pools it in one list like in the second picture on the right*. TBP, 1337x, YTS, etc. You can even customize the search to an extent.

Does it have live sports. I have a Chromecast that I never use.

Shiiit, I haven't used a Chromecast since pre-covid. Might want to invest in a FireStick, they're pretty damn good.

As for live sports, I don't think Stremio can do that since it accesses files stored on a server for playback.

You can try the SportsFire App

Yes ,occasionally, but most of what I need is on my service

Don't need real debrid or torrentio, for me works fine as is

Formuler z11 pro max

Anyone using a firestick should get rid of it

Amazon is basically shutting down third party apps and controlling what you can put on it

Id wake up to bloat all the time

Got rid of mine years ago ,it was fine for it's time

Too many other options now

https://a.co/d/9uny9hX

Walmart also has ONN boxes

https://a.co/d/e8eXz9j

But formuler has its own app called mytvonline

Once you find an iptv service ,they'll give you the url ,user and pass to connect to their panel

You put that info into mytvonline app

Not a fan of onn personally ,you get what you pay for

Vpn goes without saying ,I use surfshark

You hit a sale right ,you can get like 3 years for dirt cheap and it works well

Stremio is just a video player so I'm unsure if they'd ban it, but they do have that authority. I'd have to look into these ONN boxes since Amazon according to the Reddit has been cracking down on certain apps. Basically any device that can run these apps is a win, especially w/o a boatload of ads. Torrentio is what finds the streams for Stremio, but w/o RealDebrid, your IP is public to movie companies that can snitch to your ISP. VPNs need to be activated on all devices you're using them from, or router-wide which itself brings problems since all your home devices goes through that and you may not want it up all the time. paying RD which is dirt cheap, eliminates the need for it which I appreciate. this is just for movies/shows stored somewhere on a server though. i'm not familiar with any shadow live tv service and have no interest in attempting to access that stuff outside of official means, despite me already having cable. that's a completely other beast I feel. stremio + torrentio from my years of shady movie site watching is the literal god combination and something i've been wanting for years. no longer do you have to worry about your favorite site shutting down, you're getting your links directly from the source, better speed, quality, etc. that was always my issue and this seems to be the perfect solution.

I heard the service KODI is similar but never tried it.

Correct. As soon as they release, you can get them through this app. It pools all the major torrent sites together. The setup is under 3 minutes and stupid easy as well.

Just get a Google ONN stick and jail break it. Takes a max of 30 min. Once you have the downloader app from there itโ€™s ballgame. Streamfire, Sportsfire, UK Turks, Flix Vision, OnStream, etc etc. Itโ€™s awesome and makes you feel like an idiot for ever paying for tv. Literally anything you pay Netflix, Apple, Hulu, Showtime, HBO, Amazon Prime is all here for free and in perfect picture.

Iโ€™ll send yaโ€™ll the youtube vid to jailbreak it and the codes from there.

You guys are missing the point. Stremio, the video player, like VLC, is directly accessing the links to the torrent sites while giving you a UI (user interface) w/o having to go through 50 applications that shut down all the time and have quality issues.

Sportsfire and other live TV services is something I'm not touching on here as my goal is only movies and tv shows.

To each their own. If you jailbreak a stick and download UK Turks it probably has everything you can imagine and more on Stremio for movies and shows.

Agreed. Because you aren't getting what I'm saying and are trying to give me something I already have. I think there's a misconception because I said, "public links", but those public links are what everyone using these apps w/o paying for a service like RD are accessing, because we're all getting the links from the same place, but RD gives you premium private quality links for premium members of the same content.

HBO, Netflix, Disney, and all the other media sites get their content downloaded and stored on servers that are accessed through torrent sites that are accessed by all those different apps you listed, or one simple app, Stremio, which has all those shows indiscriminately and doesn't get banned because it is a video player.

Have you seen the photos I posted? I can literally search and watch any film or show. Give me the rarest most obscure film and I'll see if it has it.

I use Kodi. If I want to watch something but don't want to support the company, I'll just torrent it. If I do want to support the company, I will go through official channels.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I heard Kodi was pretty good and some folks even prefer it over Stremio. Will have to see what it's all about someday. srs.

It's a lot more manual, but it works well for my needs.

Does it have live sports. I have a Chromecast that I never use.
chromecast is kinda shit, there slow and crash all the time and some apps just stop working. best app for chromecast for live sports is kodi tho. or u can install browser then get sports links from dofu and put links in the browser, but they u need dongle for wireless keyboard receiver to use on chromecast if u dont want spend long time typing in links using remote ๐Ÿ˜‰

Same quality as what you get when you download a torrent file, on par and better than official services. Looks good on my 27' monitor and 100' projector display. Just check the 2nd photo, the files can be massive. I capped it at 10GB.

In case my apps get deleted (I selected a function in the settings to tell google to fk off so shouldnโ€™t be an issue) wanna do us a favor and give us a guide for dummies with Stremio? I obviously can download the app. What do you do step by step from there?

Paid subscriptions can kiss my black ass, and I'm a white guy. I've been using this link for pirated sites butlike how Streemio works.
