I have major sleep issues so I wind down. Read my book on Kindle paperwhite in bed before I go to sleep. Black out curtains, floor fan for noise, gotta be cold AF in room.

They said I have mild apnea and gave me a CPAP. I've been using it since Oct and it's done nothing to make me feel better. The last appt I had I tried to talk about the sleep stability but they said just keep using the CPAP. I really need an in clinic sleep study to try to figure out what is going on but they don't think I'll sleep in clinic. I have another appt with them in Feb. We'll see what they say.

My sleep used to be 10/10, out for 9/10 and up at 6, maybe wake once. Now I fall asleep, wake 1 hour later without fail, then again another 2-3 times. I can fall asleep okay and get back to sleep okay when I wake but it's gay

It's become so engrained that I do it even when I don't feel like it.
I don't even need it as a sleep aid or anything and seem to fall asleep just fine regardless.
It's just become such a habit that it almost feels I didn't brush my teeth or something.

7 hours per night. Usually lay in bed and doomscroll for about 30 minutes before passing out.

I can fall asleep good but i do end up being tired a lot so i wanted to try out the machine. it wasnt life changing like some people hype it but theres a very subtle difference, and I dont notice it in the morning, i notice it at the end of the day after work that I just have more energy if I been using it.

I have an Oura ring now and the couple nights I didn't use the CPAP my stats weren't much different. My time asleep is usually decent, even when my REM and deep sleep are on target I feel like crap when I wake up. My HRV is pretty much crap every night. Typical HRV for my age is 42-62 ms. Mine is pretty consistently in the low 20's, sometimes even lower. I think I hit high 30 one time since I got my ring for Christmas. Last night all my stats were good, except HRV was 16.
