I was raging hard driving to work this morning. Everyone who lives in my building was still home (cars sitting untouched), all of the offices I drove by had empty parking lots, the roads were dead. Why the FUCK am I here today?!?!?!

All of our fucking clients and vendors have their offices closed today, so I’m just sitting here twiddling my thumbs like a fucking retard because there’s nothing to do. Nobody is going to respond to any email. Nothing is going to get done. Just pointless.

If you think 90% of America is working today, you’re living under a rock. Just because Chipotle is open doesn’t mean the country isn’t observing the holiday. Like I said, I drove to work this morning and nearly every office parking lot was empty besides ours. All of my neighbors were home at 8am. Working on MLK Day is the exception in corporate America.

I've been in the workforce for 28 years, 1 company I worked for observed MLK. My customers and vendors all work today. The banks are closed, that's it.
