Beware if someone ever asks if they can give you some constructive criticism

Most people will just say yes

That basically gives them consent to say whatever criticism they want about you under the guise that it was constructive because you agreed to it

Always say no

It totally catches them off guard because they expect you to say yes and listen to their criticism

"Hey Gerald, can I give you some constructive criticism?"

"No"

Shut it down right from the get go
