I miss having friends (SRS)
When I was growing up I had dozens of friends I would hang out with on a regular basis. Life was like a teen movie. There was the core group of about 8 dudes who were my boys. They knew my family, we stayed at each others homes. Then we had a bunch of kids at school, friends of friends, girlfriends or siblings of theirs, people we’d play sports with or whatever who’d come around including older kids in the neighborhood. There was never a weekend that went by without seeing all of these people. I still have a photo from one night when I was 17. We were walking around literally 50 deep, drinking and smoking by the park. I felt invincible and life felt infinite.
Then after high school everyone slowly drifted away. My core group dwindled down to 2 or 3 by my mid-20s. A few of my friends became junkies or scumbags. Others moved away. A couple died.
Now I’m 29 years old and I only have one friend left (srs).
We only hang out a couple times a year. I saw him after New Years and it was great, but most of the time we’re too busy to actually meet up so it’s just occasional texts or calls.
I can’t help but to mourn the old days. It was awesome having so many meaningful, fulfilling, adventurous friendships with people my age.
Adulthood is lonely brahs.
Is this how the rest of life is gonna go?

My friend circle peaked in primary school and just got smaller as I got older. Some people's social circle peaks at college/University, but I didn't actually go there.

I've noticed that when people's group activity revolves around drinking, it's not a good glue to keep people together. You need to find real hobbies and do them and you will run into people who enjoy the same hobbies and develop friendships based off of that. That's creates a much more substantive group of friends

The problem with making friends as an adult is that the relationships become entirely transactional. I hate that shit. Nobody wants to associate with you unless there’s something they can get out of it. Whether that is to network or gain an advantage in a particular career/passion, elevate their social status, or befriend each other because their kids play on the same soccer league, 90% of friendships after 25 seem to be shallow.
When I was younger, you could be close friends with anyone from any background whatsoever just because. Nobody thought in these parasitic, opportunistic terms.

Based on your post history I think you need to make a lot of self-improvements to find good people to be around

Here's what you do. Accept that you're a phaggot. Go on reddit for your specific city, find a hobby you like or would like to try, and contact like-minded liberals to hang out with. Good luck.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Understand where you're coming from . Used to be in a group of 15 dudes and had the best of times. When met them in later years though (had a yearly meet ups at clubs etc), it seemed pathetic in some ways though. I just wanted to reconnect and talk to them, but all they wanted to do was to fall back into old patterns as if they were 14 again, and chase tail etc.
Had to cut it off eventually, and glad I did. Reconnected with an even older friend that had since age 5 (and lost contact with at 12) - he was always a bit goofy, and not in the popular crowd like these other 15, but was always a more genuine friend. That is enough for me right now. Have almost the same relationship with a girl (older woman now I guess) from age 5 as well. It was us 3 back then and still – realize that is not common so very grateful for those 2.
Always thought I was an extrovert as had so many ”friends” in college etc – put it on paper once at had ppl from 40 countries I hung out with (not all at once.) But today I just appreciate being by myself or with those 2 oldest friends from age 5.

normal in the west. even worse is with mass immigration, they stick to their own group, while we are just used , the greedy leave it all behind for more money to rape our country resources. I'm so sick of it. but they are living it up, having a ball with their own races, ungrateful and rude to the generous westerners. they then have dual citizenship, so use us for our money, our free healthcare, then they buy up mansions and slaves in their own country. whenever they want premium holiday time off, they just claim a family member is sick overseas, and live it up there for months. where we can't buy properties or work in their countries, while they steal our wealth and use us, then live like kings back in their 3rd world cheap countries.

Why do some of you guys get depressed for not having friends, a gf, or a family? srs. You're not going to necessarily be happier with or without them.

I tried to meet up with Mario when I was in NYC but he didn't respond further after the first messages. Feels bad man.
