This forum is already better than newmisc

At newmisc it eventually became a center of trolling and toxicity to the point where towards the end nobody was really posting anything authentic anymore it was just the same few people being assholes all the time. Seems like the threads and conversations here are resembling the old OG misc far more closely.

Allfather needs to fix the layout on desktop browsers. But yeah, reps and no stupid reactions make it way better.

Yeah but I think we definitely needed to crackdown pretty hard on some of the awful behavior that got normalized on newmisc. Some people just wanted to turn this place into stormfront or a complete troll forum. It's like you gotta set some standards to keep the degeneracy under control.

Must admit I'm surprised that AllFather's clamp down on toxicity has helped this place. Poking fun is fine but there were some low lives on newmisc that opened practically every disagreement with an insult.

lockdav shadow banned every new sign up at new misc in the last month it was active . when you signed up you couldn't even send a message or reply and that was after verifying the account . i only saw 1 new account post it must of been his alt or something
