I managed to dig myself out of red hell. I think when you make it a point to give out reps, people are more inclined to rep you back.

I've acquired my rep wealth in my early misc career through various posts, lulz, and other legitimate means as a good poster. You have no idea what you're saying. We acquired reps only to have them stolen away due to technical reasons. When you're unbanned, you GET your reps back; you DON'T get a rep RESET.
