Picked up dinner at the drive thru

Usually eat in my car in the parking lot

Decided to drive around a bit

Found a nice quiet neighborhood and parked on the side of the street

Was eating and surfing the interwebz on my phone

Tap on the passenger's side window

It's some boomer guy and his wife

Rolled down window

Boomer guy without hesitation: "Do you live here?"

Not even a hi, hello, or other greeting when you're the one who approaches and engages the other person

Just a straight up "Do you live here?" in that condescending boomer tone

Rolled up my window without answering

So as to not give them the satisfaction of responding and thus negating their made-up authority as if they owned the street

Through the now rolled up window, boomer guy in a now rustled tone: "This is private property"

Still no acknowledgment from me as I continued eating my meal and surfing the interwebz

Noticed boomer wife in rearview mirror going to back of car and getting her phone out to take a pic of my plate

Still no acknowledgement from me

They stood around a bit talking to each other and finally do the walk of shame away defeated that they got nothing out of the interaction like they thought they would

Stayed there about an extra half hour after finishing my meal to show that I would leave whenever I wanted to

Smugness had intensified intensely as I drove off in passive-aggressive victory

I absolutely adore these types of interactions and making myself as difficult as possible to deal with and absolutely uncooperative and win by default when the other person gives up
