Tried it . I used to get sick AF being in close proximity to crowds of people in Golds all the time , nasty fevers and chit . Said fk it , and a coworker and I tried going at 6am . Pretty sweet habibg the gym to yourself srs , and it’s nice getting your workout out of the way , but faurk was I tired all the time .
I think you’re more prone to injury if you do early morning workouts also . I was not as warmed up as I would be at 5pm , plus I always felt you had to rush to get your workout in , as your job schedule doesn’t change .
After a few weeks I gave up and built a home gym . After that I never got a cold/flu for 9 years straight. Had a friend not showed up that was feeling ill one time , I would have gone a decade without getting sick

I lift before work every day, usually start around 6:30, but I homegym and work from home. It doesn't make me tired throughout the day at all.

I do late at night. Tried mornings but I'd often just keep snoozing until it was too late to lift.

I lift at 6am. I prefer the gym at that hour because there’s less people and I also prefer lifting before eating breakfast. No issue being tired during the day
The beatings will continue until morale improves.

It's actually pretty goated if the gym and work is nearby / work starts late or you're WFH.
I love morning gym sessions, but I take a long ass time to get ready in the morning so its kinda hard, however the energy and mood lifts for the rest of the day you get from a morning workout is absolutely goated. I absolutely hate late night workouts though because that means its usually after dinner/fucks with your sleep (at least for me).

Wake up at 5:15 and start at 6. Decent crowd and a solid base of regulars. I also go to Crunch so there's even big booty sloots who work out at those ungodly hours.
You get used to it, but I do have to drink 250mg+ of caffeine to make it to 5p. Mornings are fine but I need a coke or a little coffee after lunch.

I used to lift before work for a while, and eventually realized that my energy levels are so low in the morning that it's not worth it.

I honestly think you can adjust to anything. You just have to force it while you're making the change.
I don't workout that early but I'm usually at the gym at 8 or 8:30 am. It used to be that I would never workout in the morning, hated it, and would only lift at night. Now I can't stand lifting at night.
You'll basically adjust to whatever. My energy levels feel like shit at night now because I'm used to the morning, whereas before my energy levels were shit in the morning because I was used to lifting at night.

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Home gym crew checking in.
I have done the early morning lifting sessions many times. No major issues number wise, but I never truly feel awake. 10AM or 11AM is my perferred time. I got a date with the barbell in 30 minutes actually. Srs, vry srs.

Nope. No way in Hell I'm working out before work (and I usually try to be in at 6-630 anyway), and my gym doesn't open until 7 on the weekend.

I used to lift or do cardio at 5am but now I just fit it in whenever I can during the day.
