yeah I think I'm against the double standards, in two ways. I don't think shes that attractive- there's some actresses and actors that people constantly call beautiful and stunning/ handsome and it feels like gaslighting.

Lets face it most people will watch this movie regardless because it's a mainstream thing. Their worst nightmare is someone in a social situation saying "Hey did you see that new Odyssey movie?" and suddenly shitting themselves because they feel embarrassed not being familiar with some weak ass pop culture shit a random NPC mentioned to them.

Instead of simply saying "Nah I havent, but maybe I'll check it out" (just to be polite even if you wont) theyll be like "Yeah! Well I mean no. Not yet. But I want to! Yeah I really wanna see it. Odd how you come across all these bitchy woke articles about "white washing" in movies, but those same hack writers are very quiet about the much more commonplace BLACKwashing, even with real life historic figures like Ann Boleyn, Joan of Arc, Julius Caesar. In terms of fiction you have blacks playing Nick Fury, Albert Wesker for Resident Evil, Red from Shawshank Redemption, Heimdall from Thor....the list goes on and on.

I think Nolan is screwing himself over with this super woke casting; blacks, South Americans, ricecels, Indians, trannies and probably queers as well all star in this movie set in the world of ancient GREECE.
