Do you guys need background/ white noises to fall asleep?

A fan even during winter for me, if it’s windy outside I will crack my bedroom window a hair so the wind makes a howl. Right to sleep.

The sound of a clothes dryer too

Yeah definitely, can't stand when a place is too quiet when I am trying to fall asleep. I need some subtle consistent white noise like a fan. I usually like fans at night anyways, keeps me cool.

I have no problem falling asleep initially, but I wake up at least once through my sleep cycle and sometimes I can't fall back asleep. If it takes more than 15 minutes I put sleep music on from spotify.

I wear earplugs every night and take ambien. That's good enough. Background noise in an obvious plus, but I still wear earplugs in case there some people yelling or garbage trucks in the morning or something like that.

Always need fan on crew. In hotel rooms even I'll make sure the window unit is at least running its fan the whole time, even if not hot or cold.
