Usually the dishes are done before I go to bed no matter what. Every once in a while I tell myself that pan needs to soak.

I hate waking up to a dirty kitchen or dishes in the sink so I try to make sure all dishes are done and kitchen is clean before I go to bed.

Yeah, it's always been a thing for me. Not that I've never left a dish in the sink when I go to bed, but it's super rare. I don't know why but it makes me feel. less stressed to come down to a clean kitchen/empty sink in the morning.

I live alone, so whatever dishes I have get put in the dishwasher, that gets run when I go to sleep, even if it isn't full. The white noise helps me sleep anyway.

I rinse them all after using. But occasionally they sit in the sink rinsed for a day or two until I'm ready to run another load in the dishwaher.
