Sometimes people miss serious gains trying to figure out when to get back in after getting out of market. That is why I just leave my investments alone and let them ride the market up and down. That being said I keep a big chunk of money in high yield savings just for emergencies or if I ever need to hire multiple escorts at once

Time in the market > timing the market

USD is down -10% this year, so having cash on the sidelines is pretty dumb (excluding 6 month emergency fund)
