Why do women just throw everything away?

I've had more serious relationships than I care to admit, and inevitably we will do some organizing together at some point. Every single one's method of organizing is just throwing things away. Whether the thing has use or value or not, they can't handle the thing existing in a space they deem disorganized and just throw it away.

I've never dated a woman who wasn't like this.

They'll throw away Halloween decorations because its January, then come October buy basically the same shit again.

Men I know are far more likely to conserve things of value, or at least sell it. I'm a millionaire (barely), partly because I don't waste money like this.


any object that slightly irritates a woman or doesn't have a place at that moment is just straight to the trash


they get in organizing mode and just go like a tornado through the house throwing shit away its wild

Because women enjoy shopping as an activity in itself.

Going out and buying the decorations is as much a part of the holiday fun to them as the actual decorations.

We don't decorate for any occasion, except for a small light up Christmas tree that goes on the buffet with the gifts - goes up Christmas Eve, down a few days later

Regularly chucking out shit we think we won't/don't need. Only thing that gets kept is a bunch of fabric, sewing stuff and feathers and shit she's collected over time because she makes stuff with it - but that stays in one room. Hell, I've thrown out clothes I purchased two months prior because I'm probably not gonna wear them. Don't care, always making money.

Plenty of impulse control when it counts, just not when it comes to inconsequential shit like clothes. If I spend $50 or $60 on a piece of clothing I like at the time and it turns out I don't like it or don't wear it, who cares? It's like $50. Get rid of it and move on with life.

Loud car behaviour is different. Dropped $7k for exhaust and install and it was worth every penny.

This is definitely a thing, my ex-wife would give away garbage bags filled of clothes every year. My dad is constantly complaining that my mom throws away all his shit. My sisters went through my parents house and threw out all my mom's shit that she didn't want to get rid of. Every time I get serious dating women they want to help me "organize" which immediately becomes why don't we throw your stuff out. All white women...

The key here is that none of these women are throwing away things they had to pay for, sure my ex-wife worked, but i made twice what she did, she wouldn't have bought all those clothes without my income.

dude. this is my exact experience. i've had so many women in my life throw away shit I valued its crazy. even as a kid mom would throw away toys and stuff I loved. every seriously relationship goes exactly as you say "help you get organized"

also completely agree, I'm the one trading hours of my life for the dollars that buy these things. I don't want to trade more hours of my life to buy it's replacement.
