Most of paper cash you have ever carried around with you?
There is a scene in The Sopranos where Tony pulls out a huge roll of cash from his pocket and counts out a couple of K to pay for something. I just wondered how common that treatment of money is. That money is gaining no interest in his pocket and isn't insured. Does anyone here carry serious paper cash around with them?
Most I have ever carried around with me at any one time is £1700, as I had to withdraw money to pay some builders. I withdrew the cash at bank, walked straight to car and drove straight home and put money somewhere safe. Day to day I never carry around more than £40 or so in wallet.

Usually $200 or so at all times. Unless you only carry only $100s, your wallet can't really be folded properly. I've had my CC skimmed before a few times so I use cash when I can.
I deposit 2k to 3k regularly at the bank though as I get paid in cash sometimes

Nice try IRS
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

When I sold my gold coin last year the dealer paid me in cash. $2900 at that time.
I was driving to the bank extra cautious with my head on swivel. Couldn’t wait to get rid of it.
