Would you call India a 3'rd world country?

It's almost a tough one, India has so much development yet it's still so 3'rd world in so many ways.

If you say "3rd world country" India is literally the first country that comes to mind.

I usually think of most of the African continent, the middle east in general, and most of South America.

By what definition? By the old definition, countries aligned with the Soviet Union (Ukraine, Kazakhstan, etc)

By the modern vernacular, middle-income middle powers, it would be Greece, Turkey, Brazil, South Africa, Argentina

Most of the Middle East is 2nd world by virtue of oil money imo. If the roads have cars it's second world imo.

100%. No ifs ands or buts. It literally has 1.4B and most of them live in abject poverty.

And on top of that, India has a 0% chance of ever not being a 3rd world country.

Drop the population by 80% and they would thrive.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
