Complete opposite. I had dozens of friends my entire childhood and into my early 20s. They slowly all died, become junkies/scumbags or otherwise drifted away. Now I only have one irl friend and Misc is my best friend srs.

No, I've had friends through all my life however since mi early thirties people have been slowly drifting apart, I still have friends that I degen max with however i'm also becoming more of a loner.

I tried really hard to stay friends with my childhood friends, but they all slowly became degenerate alchoholics and were lousy husbands and fathers and a few of them would act like I was beneath them or subordinate to them, so I had to cut them all loose.

A couple of them got their asses kicked in divorce court and went to jail for awhile for DUI or domestic violence or whatever and kind of lightened up eventually, but only because they are broken now. I am acquaintences with them these days but that's all.
