What is with the losers trying to be negative about this place?

It's just a forum where you can chat with some dudes who aren't the usual facebook/reddit NPC's. There is no need to take it seriously. If you feel like you're getting censored here, you would probably be swiftly kicked off any site with any real standards and moderation. Sure it isn't as fast as the glory years of forums in the 00's or popular reddit subs but those scenes either died off or became total shit shows dominated by bots and astroturfing activists.

This is just a place to relax, post about daily shit, and banter with the bros. I don't know what some people are complaining about.

I honestly think shit such as the like/reaction systems for comments and notifications are just cheap dopamine hits. When you take away the likes and reactions comments have to actually standout to the individuals reading them, they can't just go off some pack mentality. When you remove the notifications you don't need to engage with every asshole trying to argue with you, your engagement is simply up to your own desires.

I think this is part of the reason why old school forums died with everyone flocking to the same few big-tech mega-platforms. Hardly anyone wants to just casually post on a forum anymore, gotta be chasing those dopamine hits, everyone wants to be a clout beast.
