The Bible is very clear on the fact that the 2nd Coming was planned for the 1st centu

However we have no further evidence that it happened

Does that by itself then not prove it was a false prophecy?

I am here to learn, please do not put me on a list of people that must be executed for blaspheming the prophets

I’ve heard some people refer to him as a failed doomsday prophet. The goalposts have been moved over time to keep the tradition alive.

This is one reason I realized Christianity isn’t about following the Bible. It’s a tradition that’s loosely based on the Bible. When I realized this, things became more clear.

The Catholics already understand this, for the most part. It’s the evangelicals that seem to be confused.

Calling Jesus a failed doomsday prophet.

Enjoy going to hell.

Mark 3:28–29 “Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter,
but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.”
