Thought maybe this would be a good idea for a thread

Hair loss has been something I’ve struggled with for many years and while meds have worked to an extent I always knew this would be the final solution

Have decided to pull the trigger because for the first time I have a fully remote job

Do you think it's really worth it man?

What would you look like with a shaved head? What about staying on minox/fin indefinitely?

I ask this as someone at roughly Norwood 2.5 knowing the writing is on the wall, but I feel like spending all that money to get surgery in some shithole country and then still requiring meds is more trouble than it's worth.

Umm for me I think it’s worth it

I understand guys who talk about how hair doesn’t matter but I just can’t get over it

Ive been on meds for 10 years so thats not an issue

I don’t think there is a right answer and its a personal decision, my philosophy in life is if you don’t like something and you can do something about it then do it

Shaved head crew checkin in. I don't mind being bald, but hate the maintenance and keeping it shaved. Looks bad after 4-6 days

No, I got one 11 months ago. I don't want the meds. I will eventually lose all of my old hair, but the implants won't fall out, it's a different type of hair that isn't damaged by DHT. They did 5000 grafts focused towards the front and middle of my head, some follacles had 2 or 3 hairs, I think the total was around 8,000 hairs. I'll go back in a few years when my crown needs work and have them fill in whatever fell out in the meantime, I had diffuse thinning not MPB so my crown is still ok and the front is more important than the back.

Everyone is blown away by the results, they all thought it was a gimic, I kind of did too, but for $5,500 I took my chances. Best 5500 I've spent in my life. I have a full head of hair again.
