I saw the owner of my company for the first from since Christmas

*first time since Christmas

This dude walked into the office with a fucking bronze tan about the color of an old penny. In the middle of winter. Haven’t seen his face in person since the week of Christmas when he gave a speech telling everyone how much he appreciated us. I almost forgot he ran this place lmao.

It’s funny because he’s commented several times about hating remote work because he “likes to see everyone’s smiling faces at work.” Meanwhile it’s a rare occurrence if he shows up more than once a month.

This is pretty typical though. I’m almost certain he spends most of his time in Florida. Probably works like 5 hours a week from his laptop.

I gotta figure out how to get on the bosses level mane.

Exactly. He probably hustled his ass off from age 20-50, and is now reaping the benefits of all that work.

The fucker's dad was probably good friends with the previous owner. Gave Bronzey McPenny the job as a favor. That's a far more plausible scenario.

That could be you OP. But you have to put in the work.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Actually his dad started this company (ded fkin srs). So he was born into it - 2nd generation owner. Not saying he never worked hard, but it’s a family owned company that he inherited.

But how can I do this without money or direction?

When I started my Amazon FBA business, I launched a private label product from nothing to the #5 best seller in my subcategory and I made a small profit, but it was never enough to actually replace my salary (not even close) and, due to a lack of funds, I couldn’t afford to replenish my inventory once I sold out.

If $100k magically dropped into my account, I believe I could’ve scaled it to become a successful enterprise. Couldn’t do it with $2k though. That was in my early 20s when I had the youthful confidence to self-educate and convince myself I could actually be successful. Turned out that was a dead end dream. Unfortunately I was born poor. And around poor people. So I have no fucking idea what to do now besides wage slave to stay afloat.

Godfrd went from being dirt poor to living in one of the wealthiest areas in the state of Virginia. He did it in just a few short years. If you want this to happen to you, you need to learn how to lie on internet forums in order to create the facade of success & happiness. He can show you the way.

There's no one set way to do this.

Donvonduck is mad because my mattress costs more than his car. He could stand to learn a thing or two instead of hating like a city cop.

Here's what you do. Find something you are good at that makes money and do that. I'm not talented in any meaningful way, so here's what I did.

I got an IT job, it was IT only in name, and it paid $12/h. But that was enough for step one. I worked my ass off at that job and eventually got promoted and my pay was raised to $13.50/h. Which still isn't shit, but it's progress. I then started looking for actual IT jobs now that I had some experience to put in my resume. I found an admin job that paid $25/h, and though I believed I was not qualified for it, I applied anyways. I got that job. Worked my ass off there and ended up making $60k my first year.

Before this whole IT thing I was working at the airport making $15/h or so. So I took a pay cut, but it paid off because within 2 years I had doubled my earnings.

So what he still worked hard. You could be working hard right now to leave your son something but all you do is bitch and moan, that's not going to take you anywhere kiddo.

I mean, as someone who also is the son in a 2nd gen family business, it's not always unicorns and rainbows. He probably worked for very litttle pay much of his life, and then finally took the company over when he was like 50. And now at 50 he's finally tasting the freedom he has been working for.

If he were some lazy bastard child taking over the business, it likely would have been sold or given to someone else. You don't just give the company to the son who will run it into the ground.

I don't know so much about that last part. It would of more likely already failed or the son would of sold it.
