You have no back up

Nobody's coming to save you

Others have family, extended family, and as they get older their adult children

I'm not saying it's guaranteed that family for those guys will always be there

But if you don't have a family then it's guaranteed no one will be there for you in your older years

I've realized this in my early 40's with no one calling, texting, emailing, or caring whatsoever since I've been single for so long

So it's guaranteed to be the same as I get older

But it feels alpha nonetheless

You against the world

The world will ultimately win

Or at best you'll have a pyrrhic victory (look it up if you're not familiar with what it means)

Either way you'll be forgotten about with the quickness as if you never existed

Like a lone wolf disappearing into the wilderness
