Started learning French

Gf has a very close friend who lives in France and she invited us to her home whenever we decide to travel to Europe. Targeting May next year to avoid the winter. So now I have to learn French.

Started with Duolingo and so far can order a coffee, I can ask for extra cheese and I can say hello, goodbye and please. I haven't got to English motherfucker, do you speak it or give me a pizza you French cunt yet but I'm working on it.

I learned French in school and have worked in France for a few years. I read a lot of French and shit like that. Still very far from native proficiency. You are very delusional IMHO with this duolingo bullshit

All those things don't really work duolingo etc...You actually have to get out there to the native country or people who speak the language, and talk to them everyday in their language.

I did 4 years of French in high school

It’s a beautiful language and very “easy”on the ears if that makes sense.

Now I have forgotten some of it so I have been thinking of picking it up again

Funny enough my family is from Quebec and are all fluent in French but I’m not

Montreal women are very attractive, I’ve had some fun times in that city

Also I’m not sure if I’d want to learn Quebecois French, as I hear it’s very poverty sounding in comparison to real French they speak in France.
