Haven't had a balance; I only use them for major purchases to get rewards 3 - 6X annually and then I pay the full amount as soon as the charge posts...

I have three cards but only use one as the others are just back ups. Since I went to the ME, I have paid cash for almost everything because dat dere O&G money!
