One is the original version, and he other is colored red that has been reduced to 50% opacity
I learned this technique from a tutorial from Udemy

Depends on where you’re going with the story and how prevalent red tint is.
If red tint is used sparingly then context matters. It forebodes a fell tale to fall upon our heroine. The dwarf of a man will seize his desires.
However if red tint is the default style then it conveys a mysterious tone akin to noir.

No tint looks easier on the eyes. Depends on the context though. If she was awoken by the shrunken man in the middle of the night, the red tint could be useful to convey a sinister scene in the darkness.

She is asleep and hooked up to a mind control device and her probation officer can see what she is dreaming about on a video monitor.
This is why there is a red tint in all of the scenes where she is in her dream. When she wakes up, the lighting will revert to normal

Whenever a shrunken man gets loose in my bedroom the first thing I do is turn the lights on if I’m serious about finding him. So top one if you’re going for realism, bottom one if she’s not really serious about finding him.
