I put in a market order to sell a stock 2 days ago.

It only went through now today when the price was lower.

Fortunately it was only 2 shares and my total loss was only $12 but if it was more shares, it could have been thousands.

These Israeli tricks are irritating but I guess it was only $12 rather than getting bombed.

I've never lived in Thailand so I don't have any expert opinion to offer and can only tell you what other people say.

The big one is simply that cost of living is lower so you can live well since your money goes further. The other thing though is that force of law seems weak and the authorities seem corrupt. This could be a problem for you since you run afoul of the law a lot. Very dangerous in Thailand because the cops will side with the locals.
