I would argue that a bearded face is more real than a shaved face. Shaving is problematic for lots of men, and unnecessary for aesthetic purposes

No, the reason for having a beard is testosterone. The reason for shaving it is due to the widespread popularity of homosexuality during Greco-Roman times. Men wished to appear softer, less masculine. Look it up. It was a way they peppered the angus.
