Got pulled over driving with a suspened license. srs

In Lynn, MA
at 1 25 am

it got suspended last summer cause i got ticketed at 120/mph for $595

which went a $100 more cause late. appeal failed. Never paid.

also have to take two classes to clear the suspension cause of the ticket ( such a pain its 8 hours a day)

also, title was expired cause didnt pay excise tax ( $290 +$100 late fee). So need to get the plates back from their station ASAP ( prob Thur after i get paid)


but brahs i got a summons for a criminal case for driving with a suspended license


if it shows up on future employment back ground checks .

its gonna be hard for a paaajeeet like to get h1b,papers etc

I got arrested for a suspended license srs had to pay $250 bail. Pretty sure it got dropped though to a few parking tickets

Hire an attorney , OP you should have done it last summer


My gf got pulled over for going 23 miles over and also expired registration. the traffic attorney is only 250 and thats what the fines were anyways so its well worth it... ESPECIALLY considering the cost it would increase the insurance by if you just admitted and paid the ticket.

traffic attorneys are pretty cheap,. they just go to zoom court anyways now and they dont have to research anything they just ask the state to drop or reduce it and they nearly always do.

its well worth it. there is no guarantee the judge will reduce anything if you fight it yourself, its not really fair but the attorny is cheap enough in this case to save you money

you should have hired an attorney the first time. 120 mph is a lot and insurance companies will freak out if they see that and double triple or quadriple your shit.

an attorney would probably have been 500 bucks or maybe 1k but it would have saved you money and not have a suspended license and you wouldnt have a second ticket now

but now at 250 a month i refuse to pay that when my 2023 subaru impreza sport ca payment is 500 a month and i still got 16k left on the car to pay
