I'm a fan of Paul Newman and he has so many great movies. You might like, The Verdict 1982. It's a good watch and a great cast.

Thanks for mentioning Harper. A IMDB review says that it was adapted from Ross MacDonald's The Moving Target. I read that years ago and had no idea it was made into a movie (I don't think it was ever a best-seller). Now I'm curious to see how the movie differs from the book. The book detective is a world-weary everyman, not really the Paul Newman type.

Yes, and Newman won the oscar for best actor in that movie.

Here's a clip from, The Young Philadelphians 1959. They don't show much in the trailer so I grabbed this clip instead. This is the movie that made Newman a star.

Plot: A promising lawyer tries to handle his social and professional problems while climbing the legal ladder in Philadelphia.
