I wish I lived in a place

Like Virgin River tv show. I’m sure there’s other examples.
Think small community, everyone in everyone’s business but they love each other and show up at each others weddings and shit.

Naw mean?

Anyone live in a place like this- where do I have to go to get this?

In virgin river the median age is like 50 so I don’t know if that needs to be a defining factor. Does misc have this? It’s possible right

I used to live in a city where people were pretty open about.
Id make friends just being outside. Me and my boy would just go talk to people at the park and end up in all sorts of shenanigans.
Our appartment block everybody knew eachother. The neighbors watched eachothers kids, i would be carrying the groceries inside if we crossed path outside.
I really enjoyed it there.

Later on when me and my other friend moved to this bigger city. We both thought back how it was weird we spent only a year there, but we made so many friends

It reminded me how life was in early 2000s. While it was 2020-2021 in the middle of rona

Irl it’s mine too but they’re in each others business for positive vibes.
In my life I worry about things like - the school calling CPS because I run late all the time
In Virginia river life - the neighbor realizes I need help with some stupid thing and starts chipping in to help my fam. Just an example lol

Play music too loud at night- neighbor calls cops

Virgin river- play music too loud at night- community is having a late night party in the town hall

Small farming communities have some of those vibes. I've done a lot of spring cleanup for elderly people. Split and stacked firewood. Taken food over to families where the mom just had a baby, etc. Typical neighbor stuff.
