Yes. My grandparents used to golf with an Indian businessman when I was a young child. This would’ve been the early 2000s. Every Friday they’d pick me up from school and I’d go to the golf course with them, sit at the bar, watch TV, play gameboy and chill with the boomers srs. GREAT times. I remember their Indian friend teaching me about flat screen TVs before I ever saw one with my own eyes. He owned some sort of electronics company. He also had an insane amount of hair growing out of his ears, I’d always stare and wonder if he noticed me staring lol. Nice guy though.

i never seen a single one until 2017. i think the first non white person i ever seen i was maybe 12 or 13 but was chinese. now i see indians every time i got into my rural hometown

Prolly cause I grew up way more rural. I was timbits league until 7.

When I moved close to the city in peewee we had AAA, AA, A, B, and C rep leagues. Growing up everyone played hockey if u made it to a rep league at all u were pretty good. Like if u needed backup call up players for a A team a B league player would fill the role fine, even a C League player would Im a pinch

House league was also packed full, I played both for extra practice, house and B league

I grew up in NYC and my grandparents lived in Jackson Heights, 74th street and Roosevelt Ave looked like New Delhi for as long as I could remember. Meaning, it was a dirty and smelly shithole.

I had Indian friends in college, but they were still kind of a niche group at that time. Indians mostly stuck with other indians at that time, and only dated other indians. Now it's still kinda like that, but they definitely have a lot more white friends nowadays.

2011 I visited Florence and it was very much Italian and a peak experience

2014 I revisited and a large number of shops in the city were owned or run by Indians. Couldn't get a good gelato as the Indians were peddling their generic crap
