America is cooked

I commend Trump for the effort and he's done all he can to slow the inevitable but America is 100% cooked.

The next 20-30 years it will get progressively worse until it eventually breaks. The real question for those of us who want to abandon the sinking ship is timing it properly. America is still currently the best place to live even with all of the negatives and the direction it's trending, but at some point that will flip and one should have an exit plan in place.

When do you think will be best to bounce and what land do you project will be the most ideal to relocate when that time comes? I'm also aware there may be nowhere to really go which is equally unsettling

Nova scotia is similar but we would need to deal with Halifax, and it's not a complete island like NFLD where it would be easier to secure borders, but it should be easy enough to defend with a small 40km wall along the NB border

the plus of NS over NFLD is we have the valley for produce, and better forestry/lumber
