That's in fact a great deal. For anyone who needs plates, don't hesitate, get those. Too late for me since I'm already stocked up on expensive rogue stuff. Only thing with the cheap plates is to weigh them yourself because they'll probably be plus minus 2-3 pounds of what they're listed as.

I ended up switching to these, the coated ones the reviews sound like the dimensions are a little off and the coating smells a bit on the others

Ridiculous deal. If only they were the cap barbell design.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I've got a bunch of mismatched weights, started with a 300 lb set I got in my 20's, bought a couple 45's and 35's off craigslist, got 4 10's and 4 5's the same brand as the 45's I bought today, a set of mirco weights 1/2 lb each, and some random 10's, 5's and 2.5's I got from play it again sports

I also have a bunch of standard weights I use for my spinlock dumbells and pseudo kettle bells

so at least today's addition will match something

Not bad. Anything that's about $1 per pound or less is a great deal nowadays. I remember $1 as the standard, like 20 years ago, when I bought my first set of weights. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

50 cent a pound seems super cheap, what is even the raw stock prices of steel? I mean this is lower quality steel than you would use to build things but still

Oh those are nice. Yeah your delivery guy won't be happy. I had ordered a bunch of kettlebells and a rack. I've known my delivery guy for years. He pulled up when I was outside doing some yard work...a few min later he yelled out, "Jesus Christ Kim, wtf?! I laughed and helped him onload my stuff...
