Hair transplant progress before, right after and now day 14

Apparently the crown takes 12-18 months but holy shit these latest pictures are not encouraging.

2900 grafts on the crown and 1100 on the hairline. The doctor said I had very strong donor with 2-3 hairs per graft. So call it 7200 hairs implanted on the crown and 2750 on the hairline.

I’m going to go to a salon and have it professionally dyed in 12-18 months.

Never realized how grey it actually was until I started documenting my transplant with pics.

Honestly, I think you'll have a pretty good result. It will definitely look better, but I think the gray is actually a bigger deal than the balding. Obviously a little gray isn't the end of the world(and is probably a good thing past a certain age), but the amount you have is too much and makes you look like Steve Jobs from the back.

all the transplanted hair falls out, you can hope and pray it doesn't but it does

don't pay attention to progress until months 3-4, you'll worry about it unnecessarily, then every week from month 4-6 you will see improvement

If I were Brad, I wouldn't let it grow out ever again(as soon as the new grafts are fully grown). Keep it like a 1 on the sides with a mid fade, and somewhat short on top as well. He definitely should never go full scrub again, as he just looks like a guy in his 40s who stopped giving a fuck, and those guys get precisely zero pussy.

I actually had very few of the transplanted hairs fall out. My hairline was legit looking great within 3-4 months of the procedure.

OP I've actually gotten a hair transplant so I know what I'm talking about.

What you have right now is NORMAL. The transplanted hairs don't grow back for like 3 months. At 14 days the only hair you see right now is the hair you had before, not the transplanted ones. You're fine
I refuse to die until things are better... and THAT IS A THREAT!

Thanks for posting pics

That's good to know that there is no scabbing or redness at day 14 I would feel comfortable going back to work or walking around outside

Did they give you any rules as.far as how long to wait until you can cut your hair or wear a hat?

The only thing that stands out is the transplant hairs are shorter than the original hairs, if you could cut your hair with like a 1mm it would look more natural but I imagine the surgeon told you to wait?

I know they are supposed to fall out pretty soon? Then regrow

I will probably get a transplant one day.

Right now my eye bags annoy me more. I would rather get a surgery for that first
