Would it be dumb to take this new job if given an offer?
Recruiter reached out to me about a WFH position with a company that builds 7brew coffee resturant. I dont need it but figured what the heck, its WFH.
The recruiter asked me salary and I threw out $95k. The company wants to interview me next week.
My only concern is the company was founded in 2023 and how big is this 7Brew franchisee going to be? They claim 7brew is looking to have 210 new resturants by 2030. They alreqdy have locations in Nashville, Chicago and Pittsburgh

Never heard of them. The short track record is a concern, but it doesn't sound like your leaving a job or need the cash? If thats the case, I am not seeing the down side. I mean what's the chances of them completely collapsing and being out of business by October? The market is not saturated with coffee businesses or anything.
Cliffs take the offer, enjoy the paycheck while it lasts.

$95k and WFH with some jobsite visits sounds pretty damn good. Im tired of 5 day commutes.
If the business collapsed I'd be screwed seeing it took me forever to job hop for more pay.

After a quick Google search they seem pretty popular.

Take it. Jump ship in a year with the title and the salary history.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

They have 800k followers on facebook and instagram. And 400k followers on tiktok. Looks like they get fairly good engagement as well. Seems legit

Not long ago I went to culvers for lunch in a chicago suburb I wasn’t really familiar with. Pulled out of culvers on a side street and there was a line literally a mile long with police directing traffic. They were all in line for 7 brew

7brew is super popular here in Florida. They seem to be growing at a decent clip and they are packed in the mornings thru like 12pm. I thought they were already nationally known so you may be on the ground floor of something big.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

Did the job require a college degree? You probably should have said "I'm not too worried about salary at this point" when the recruiter asked... best to talk about salary later on.
7brew has alright coffee. in the city i used to live in, it was minutes away from home, had cheap coffee, but wasnt as good as a local shop.
