So are Mazda Miata fanboys the Nintendo switch fans of the car world?
Every time someone ask Reddit for car suggestions its always Mazda Miata. They even have an acronym.

Honestly I can't stand Miata fanboys. They fail to realize not every guy is 5'5 140lbs. Not everybody lives near curvy roads. And so what if a car is top fast for the streets? Have some self control. And lets not forget you get called insecure with a small dick for wanting a big V8.

They're boring as fuark. Friend of mine had one years ago, let me drive it. Held the road fine so I guess I can see the attraction as a budget roadster coupe type thing, and parts are cheap and readily available so I guess they serve as a gateway into actual car enthusiasm.
Still would rather gag on a nice clean weiner than own one myself. Plus I didn't fit in the seat, plus the top of the windscreen was directly at my eye level.
Here's another theory - if you have a bit more money and a bit less interest in fixing your own car, still know nothing about cars, but want something that makes you feel vaguely excited, then a 911 is much the same. Completely generic sports car look, mind-numbingly boring.
