12 seats flipped in favor of Democrats



Major Taylor Greene: I’d like to congratulate two time Congressional candidate loser Laura Loomer, MIGA foreign op Mark Levin, and Neocon murdering psycho Senator Lindsey Graham for leading Republicans into slaughter going into midterms.

Your incessant lies to President Trump have destroyed all faith in the GOP.

I’d also like to remind everyone that when I led the party on the campaign trail fighting for America First in ‘22 and ‘24, all the GOP did was win win win!
But after Trump called me a traitor and said he would destroy me for releasing the Epstein files, I refuse to fight for Trump and the Republican Party that defends the Epstein class, wages pointless foreign wars, and pursues America LAST.

I never changed, Trump and the GOP betrayed their voters and took in the trash we threw out of the party.

The 2 Mississippi ones were both re-districted prior to the elections and made them solidly Democratic districts so those aren't actual "flips"

From my experience being inside republican circles, they actually enjoy losing. They don't want to be in power, they want to be the opposition party. They don't have any idea what to do when in control, they just want to complain about libruls abusing them. It's a weird kind of political sado masochism. I think they idolize lindsay graham to be honest. An effeminate closet homosexual that tries to distract you from the way he begins to salivate when he sees a young man cross his path by going over with top with a fake machismo - demanding we bomb every country on the planet into submission because he's such a tough fellow....that's the republican party, and they are this way so deeply there's no reform possible.

I mean it’s beyond obvious that actual right wing populism would be popular in massive swaths of this country and is a winning formula for the GOP but the party is obviously still run by the donor and neocon elites who won’t allow that so at this point I think we need an actual conservative third part (yeh I know it will never happen) The votes they would siphon away from Republicans would give Democrats big wins but maybe Republicans just need to take an L of that magnitude

Never could happen the way the laws are structured in this country that allow wealthy oligarchs to not only buy politicians, but also control the media, and basically every other institution in this country.


Wealth is so concentrated, and the population is so fragmented ideologically, that I don't think there is anyway of actually voting out of anything.


The way I look at the GOP now is that it is just supported by a bunch of religious radicals, and Trump was able to lie his way to getting just enough independents to vote for him.


But third party is nonsense. There would have to be some kind of catastrophic event that broke up wealth in this country for anything to change.

Funny enough, Trump largely marginalized the Religious Right outside of the people who think it's their sworn Christian duty to uphold Israel at all costs. Which is a decent segment of the RR but certainly not the whole coalition. Once Franklin Graham said Trump was a "changed man" (morally) and Tony Perkins would give him a mulligan for his long history of multiple marriages and infidelities, the Religious Reich's influence was nothing more than symbolic. They also don't have much left to fight for after getting rid of Roe v. Wade. They can't even complain about homosexuals anymore consider Donald Trump appointed guys like Scott Bessent [Who is married] to important cabinet positions.

True. To me it's not all factions of religion more or less the Evangelicals aka the Christian Zionists. Those people are no different to me than ISIS, rather they just rather the US military do their bidding than doing it themselves.

Being a separation of church and state activist is how I originally got into politics in my early teens to begin with. The likes of Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell were the first non-political figures I hated with a passion. George W. Bush was at least known to be a family man when the RR was pushing his presidency. They had to play mental gymnastics to justify Trump who is unapologetically not Christian or Christian-like in any way outside of political expediency.

I was reading a book about this history of Christianity, and after reading about the wars between the papacy and the state after Rome collapsed made me realize how important a separation of church and state is.


Because the papacy believed they didn't need to adhere to any laws.


The church was absolutely ruthless, along with all the early church fathers, especially Augustine, who was a complete tyrant.

Religion to me is nothing more than government.


Made me realize as well why the founders were so adamant about it (separation of church and state).
