I went to the Cincinnati zoo and it was sad tbh. Didn't like it much.

I went to the Disney world zoo in Orlando and it was pretty incredible. Huuuge areas for the animals. You could tell the animals were happier

I have met a couple chicks at the zoo.

Srs. I like going by myself lol.

I acknowledge they can be damaging to the animals. I acknowledge this environment may or may not be “better” than their original from a survival perspective.

I hate seeing animals locked up. I’m too ignorant to really have an opinion about it.

Who gives a shit it’s good family friendly fun in a world where most people are degenerate retards and most kids are lazy little shits with there faces glued to I pads 24/7 I’d say a zoo is a nice escape from our lives.

Plus if the zoo is so bad how come so many animals raised in captivity turn around and walk right back into there cages after they are released.

Don't care tbh as long as they're taking well care of the animals, have enough funding to keep the lions on good meat etc they're better off than in thewild

lmao releasing them back inn to wild after being raised in captivity spoiled and not knowing how to hunt etc is just leading them to their inevitable demise not "setting them free" or hwatever those retards think they're doing

I am a little torn on Zoos. I don't like seeing the large felines prowling near the edge of the cage, as it is clear they yearn for the freedom of their natural habitat.

BUT...Zoos also do good work in terms of protecting endangered species, breeding programs, research. Zoos also give visitors a chance to see and learn about animals they otherwise never would.

We have 2 in Chicago, the one the city runs is small with shitty enclosures, the one in the suburbs has large open enclosures that more resemble natural habitats. It;s better for the animals as well as the human experience. Simply a better zoo.

This sums up my feeling as well.

Also, that tiger photo reminds me of the time we went to the zoo when I was a kid and the tiger sprayed my grandma srs. The thing turned around, lifted its tail and let off a nasty smelling mist right in her face as we were standing there.
