Miscer from 2010era; will you get banned for racism-lite here?

saw some funny thing in the news and thought of the old misc.

got banned off of newmisc.com because there was a black-mod who would basically give out bans for anything he perceived as racist (such as google FBI crime stats). I guess muh microaggressions.

not racist nor authoratative/reactionary myself but when you start banning facts & statistics about ANYTHING, things go bad real quick (ex. black neighborhoods that were formerly safe).

I mean, the moderation seems pretty reasonable here. Obviously don't post swastikas and outright racist shit that shouldn't be posted anywhere, but as long as you're being reasonable it seems fairly hands off.

thanks I remember you. I interacted via threads with you. I forget my newmisc name (maybe it was AMOG?)

btw: I did read the rules but know that rules are only as strong as they are enforced. walking on eggshells re: how your comments will be perceived vs. what they actually read as objectively...makes for a bad forum.

i think his name was commando...? or soemthing maybe completely off. but he basically tracked my threads/posts and like I'd last not even a day before getting temp-banned ...FINALLY when I made a thread about racism standards for posting (ironic you can make fun of everyone else but the black) he perma-banned me.

I think there’s a quota of how many blatantly racist miscers that are allowed. Some are subtly racist but have more complex personalities where they talk about other things. We allow one blatantly racist that’s their only identity at a time - maybe two and those roles are covered.

Btw this is probably not true although I do think it makes sense in some ways. We do have a couple resident racist already so you will be walking a fine line
