Recommend earbuds, misc

Is it worth it to go premium and spend some more?

Got a pair of JBL tune buds - about 50 bucks. Then seemed they were very bad, just sliding easily out of ones ear.

Many had the same problem it seems so ordered various fittings from Chyna and got some that worked on the 3rd try.

100% avoid them. I bought like 3 paira that were over 200 bucks and they all brake with one side not working.

Just get normal headphones. Dead srs. I promised myself i would never buy earbuds again theyre 100% jew scams.

AirPods. Anything else would be crazy.

I’ve had my current pair 4 years and the sound is perfect.

Airbuds are inferior to over the head headphones in everyway. They also last must longer. You wont lose them or have them fall out.

Why do you need earbuds anyway?

Those are hundreds though. But if fit and sound is right - maybe it's worth it?

airpods are the way to go. I've had no issues with them. Sound clarity on phone calls is great, sweat in them and they don't fall out. I think it's worth the 200.

Anker is prob ok for just listening to stuff, but phone call clarity is not even close.

Thanks again for the recommendations - still think about/compare some.

My regular headphones broke, again – as they always do for me. So decided this is more important than buds. Tried several these last couple of years – anything from 20 -500 buck ones (chineese budget to Bang Olufsen). I just have to get better/careful, and resist falling asleep with them on.

Recently tried a 20 dollar pair, but quickly got sick of them. So just now send for these - Marshall Monitor III ANC:

https://www.marshall.com/us/en/product/monitor-iii-anc?pid=1006861

A camera store here, of all places, had a decent discount so it ends up being 270 bucks. Seem to have good reviews and like the design choices. Not an audiophile, so spending more seems silly as could get a cheap vacation instead. And if go much lower, you get these cheaply build ones (decent sound still) that will just fall apart, with no way to get spare parts.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Marshallheadphones/comments/1fw7yl9/monitor_iii_vs_monitor_ii_comparison_and_quick/
https://versus.com/en/marshall-monitor-ii-vs-marshall-monitor-iii

Hope these work out well – stings a bit when trying to save on everything, but I do use regular headphones a lot so.

App is easy to use and still need to tweak settings maybe. The thing that is is better here is the comfort. Cups seem pretty small, but still the outer leather piece is very soft and covers a bigger ear somehow. Could wear for days.

For Battery powered Bluetooth phones i have

1. Phillips set for workouts

2. A noise cancelling soundcore (Anker) for airplanes

Then I have wired audiophile phones for music at home
