THIS is what I've been optimistic about. thinking that maybe this will present a final solution to these perpetual problems. at this point i dont even mind the literal fallout if it solves this ongoin issue once and for all for future generations.

Great way to make terrorists out of what once were nuetral leaning local populace (if not pro western with a regime change). We have an issue with the regime, not the locals. Taking out power infrastructure and bridges which will degrade the quality of life for the locals.

In 10 years when theres another 9/11 because of what some 14 year old saw their family go through due to all this.......just saying. All in support of strategic military targets but that's it.

I watched a lot of locals go from a wave to a death stare by month 7 when I was deployed.
