I’m going to start bowing on a regular basis.
A while ago I did this personal experiment where I was trying to learn the inner workings of the natural interaction of holding a door for someone. While I performed this experiment with literally no control for variables or environmental regulation, no real strategy, and no documentation, the conclusions of this personal anecdote should be considered statistical fact.
If two people are approaching the door from different directions at the same time, typically the person on the side of the door that the door swings, is the person who opens the door. So if the door swings out, the person walking in the building will hold the door for the person walking out.
Women absolutely expect men to hold the door for them. I would intentionally walk in buildings at the same time as women and wait for them to stop short of the door and then I would stop and stand there and look at them and the door without doing anything. I did not open the door for them. Based on the subconscious body language and micro-expressions they clearly perceived that as rude. I blame simps for women’s shitty behavior. Daily reminder, unless you have some agreement with someone, no one owes you anything.
Boomers are fucking assholes. They will literally stand back and wait until someone else gets close to opening the door and then just start moving forward as if you are their personal servant. I literally started just walking through them. I open the door for me, I go through it, and I don’t worry about holding it open for them. They know what the fuck they are doing.
There was one time I was walking out of a building and a guy, just a normal guy was walking in. It was natural for me to go first because of how far away he was, but he was absolutely close enough that I should have held the door for him (if you believe in manners, which is what I am exploring). I don’t know what he felt, I didn’t ask him. It seemed to me to be a form of depressing acceptance. Like “yeah, no one sees me, why would this guy”. I acknowledge there is projection there and I do absolutely feel unseen at times and that makes some of the feels not so pleasant.
I was thinking last night, whilst stoned out of my mind how I could communicate to people they are seen, but without being a simp, or someone who just follows the script they think society wants them to because they want what they think society can offer them. That is not me man.
I analyze my own body language and I have found myself doing a head bow often. So I started exploring that. I googled appropriate ways to do it in different situations and people depending on the relationship. Including just random passer bys. I’m kind of excited about it. I have no doubt it will be awkward af from time to time but I am an awkward person, and I am comfortable with that.
The most common I will use is the head bow with light eye contact on the way down, pausing at the bottom for a second and regaining eye contact on the way up. Breath in on the way down, out on the way up.
My favorite reminds me of a court jester, left foot forward and turned 45 degrees, bend at the waist and let your arms and shoulders hang straight down. Do not keep them pinned. Kind of sloppy but has a great mix of “good day sir”, and also “go fuck yourself”.
The more professional version, you would see in modern Asia for example, would keep your hands pinned to your side, at your waist, for males. I will be doing this in higher risk professional settings and some personal interactions.
There will be no expectation for the recipient of the bow to do anything. My only intention is to communicate mutual appreciation of our divine nature and self respect. They don’t have to respond in order for me to do that.

Also, who was that one miscer who would always *bow?

Never done a head bow, but i do a down nod if i dont know u, if i know u i nod up.
Im probably truly autistic because i do not mind not being seen or aknowledged. I actually prefer this so your post is not relatable at all for me.
Except the part about not opening the door for sloot.
I have a hot bitch neighbor. She was coming from inside i was outside at the same time, i wait for her to open because id had to use a key and she doesnt. So nothing happened and then i peeked from the window next to the door.
Then she opened the door and looked kinda visibly upset.
Like she expected me to open the door when id had to scramble my keyes and she can just turn the lock.
Anyway man.
Thats life son.

Have you ever thought of kneeling OP? You should look into it
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."
