How would you start over from 0?

Let's say you woke up tomorrow and you're 35 years old with no job and no degree.

You're healthy

You have no wife and 2 kids depending on you. No family to lean on.

You have $5,000 in credit card debt, a 2001 Honda Civic that mostly runs ok, and no other assets to speak of. Your credit score is 350.

Could you turn it around? How would you do it?

You didn't mention the property situation. I would try get a roof over my head for my kids and I as a first resort, even if it meant selling the 25 year old Honda for peanuts.

Then go job hunting and be honest about my situ. I would accept basically ANYTHING, not matter the hours or pay. You didn't mention kid's age, are they old enough to look after and feed themselves for at least some of the day?

Once I had job, I would try and pay off the card debt bit by bit.

This is another thread where Wincel(OP) outs himself because he'll have sorts of silly theories when this kind of thing is about what actually works in the real world.

The answer is you're pretty much fucked. There's no pulling yourself up from your bootstraps or law of attraction positive thinking to save you from that situation. The only thing you can really do is join the military if they'll take you and go the government welfare route.

At that point I wouldn’t care about debt or credit scores. Your top priority is getting a job and paying immediate necessities. In the past I would get a waitressing job. It’s fast, decent money- or it was. I’ve lived in survival mode plenty of times lol- and you just do it

I would probably travel full time and make videos of doing it. For now, there's very little growth opportunity in the US. People who don't already have something established aren't going to do great for a couple more years here.
