I mean yeah, I mean you can watch a woke diverse movie which offers a dumbed down version of the book's plot so that it appeals not just to its intended audience but also to the missus and little susie and grandpa joe so they all buy a separate ticket to join you in the theater. And then it's filled with brain rattling special effects that assault your ears and eyes. I mean ok.

Or I mean you can just have an intimate experience with the story by reading it in a setting of your choosing, at a pace of your choosing, and the ability to pause and reflect on it at any given point.

If I can get the gist of it and experience the basic story in under two hours vs reading for a week or more when I could be training, or eating, or walking the dog, or fucking the missus, or smoking a cigar in the hot tub, or analysing stocks and commodities for investment profits, or research steroids, then that is ideal.
