For what its worth, I am pretty sure the guy who won wants to keep all of Orban's migration policy in place. Pro EU parties won in Poland a few years ago too and they've largely kept the previous conservative governments immigration policy in place, I think they know that its political suicide not to in places like Poland and Hungary.

I like Orban but the most likely reason he lost is that he's been prime minister for like, 16 years. Eventually people are just going to vote for someone else.

that's what carney said about immigration in canada before he won, and i live RURAL, hours away from any city. meanwhile im seeing more pakis, indians and africans than ever in the last year since he won. this place is a dump. the Canadian people are fucking retards. they just made it so anyone with a a parent born in canada over the last 60 years can get citizenship(geeeee wonder why specifically 60 years? right when they opened up the brown gates). also we got super visas where PR residents and immigrantrs can have their older family kin over here for 5 years at a time.

Thing is these Eastern European countries are poor and destitute, looking for funding from the EU. So I would assume that some compliance is realistic, especially with political platforms that these people run on not being worth anything. It's just a sales tactic.
