Why didn't markets crash today?

They crashed previously when the Strait was blocked and oil soared but for some reason today when the same shit happened everything went up.

I call on resident stock market expert Oliver to please explain
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Real answer:

This “blockade” is good for the market as its purpose is to remove Iranian control of the straight and get oil tankers through despite being called a “blockade”

No that doesn't make sense. It WAS priced in, then the agreement to cease fire shifted everything back up and priced it back out. We saw oil pull back then as well.

But I think Lefticle answered it. I read something similar that sentiment is this move by Trump is a sign the war will come to an end sooner rather than later. So it's a short-term bother, yes, but long-term anticipation is favorable and that's what's getting priced in right now.

The sooner you realize the entire stock market is an illusion from reality, the more it'll make sense. Just invest in major index funds and pray the USD doesn't collapse, you'll almost always outpace inflation. I literally haven't touched my portfolio, other than reinvesting dividends, and I'm right back where it was before I was down about 50k. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

Because the only country being blockaded is Iran. As best I can understand. It's a little confusing. I think the goal is to provide free passage to countries that Iran was charging to pass. I think.

Market pricing is determined by risk. When risk rises, the market drops. When risk lowers, the market rises.

Your wisdom is beyond my comprehension. Explain in stupid people terms. Did risk lower with oil rising back up?

P.S. Lefticle actually already explained it so you can just copy his assessment
