Pirate Ancestors
My older sister is doing research and got down to 16th century so far. Can't wait for a proper summary, but apparently we got some ppl in the family line being "kapare"/pirates on the west coast here - the category that was sanctioned by the state/king to go after some neighbors.
Besides that, many were farmers. There was even a book about about their large farm (18th century) so seems they did well and had serfs/miscers etc working there.
Have you guys found out anything about what your ancestors did for a living? Pls hare.

Your sister is wasting her time. After every few generations, someone gets cucked making tracing the bloodline invalid. This isn't me spreading redpill misc hysteria, it's what genealogists accept as facts.
If you're down to the 16th century, there have statistically been multiple cuckings and there's no way that those are your genetic ancestors.

My sister called me today, as had gotten more exciting results. Think she has went straight down by mother/father and get to mostly regular ppl 17th and 18th century. But apparently found some nobility lines here in the south west - was always a contested area that changed hands between Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. So some nobility lines of mine are danish and stretch into the mainland (småland, as well.)
Have to go through the documents she sent - but one name was:
Bengt Turesson (Bielke)
https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bengt_Turesson_(Bielke)
Born 1291. Never imagined we could get records this far back. Was a type of minister/riksråd. Das it.

Seems like 6 noble lines on one branch. Would have never expected. Mentioned one already.
Another is: Natt och Dag (Night and Day)
3 rd one is Ulvåsaätten / Lejon (lion)
https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnus_Gudmarsson_(Ulv%C3%A5sa%C3%A4tten)
4th one is Finstaätten
https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finsta%C3%A4tten
5th one is Snakenborgätten – couldn't find info or coat of arms yet.
6th one: Hammerstaätten / Grip

My Dad passed away in 2017, but I recall him saying back in the 90s that his ancestors were outlaws, for many generations during the 19th century

Sorry, I was perhaps in a bad mood and overreacted earlier.
I have to look more into it to confirm as seems a bit too fantastical tbh. But seems in that 1st noble family, Gunilla Bielke (25 June 1568 – 19 July 1597) was actually Queen (1585-92.)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunilla_Bielke
Seem to have birthed a prince and not a king (was hoping.) I have to buy some books and dive deeper into history I guess.
